Lorenza Trapero was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. She moved to Castle Rock to be an Au Pair on September 14th. She found it both hard and exciting to get out of her comfort zone. She also realized that money goes out a lot faster than it comes in! Finally, Lorenza is getting the independence she’s always wanted.

 

Sol Vazquez is an Argentinian girl who is currently living as an Au Pair in Boulder, CO. The past few years, she has been working as a journalist, publishing about tourism and workers’ rights in the tourism industry. She considers herself a brave feminist, loves jazz music, and just started doing yoga and light hikes with new friends. She thinks you can get a healthy and fun life through travelling and meeting new people. That’s her secret – keep moving!

She is also highly interested in photography and communication skills. Sol is open-minded and carrying about dogs, kittens and people; in that order. At the moment, she is trying to figure out what to do with her life next; but right now, she realizes that being present and happy is a nice way to live in this crazy world.

 

Lena Haarhausen is a nineteen-year-old German girl who came to Colorado in July 2018. Before her year in the USA, she did volunteering for a year in a school for children with special needs. She had to learn a lot of patience and empathy, because the children needed it! But, it’s the best requirement for an Au-Pair! She is also a big fan of travelling and wants to see as much as possible from the world! Estefania Feninoe is a Colombian girl in love with her life and with thousands of dreams to make true. She believes that every dream you can think of, you can make real (everything depends on the attitude you have toward life). She’s crazy organized, loves to have everything clean and in the correct place. She studied Industrial Design, and Jewelry Design. What started as a hobby now is her passion.

She loves to travel, to know the world and the people around there, to try good food, to take pictures of what is happening, and to go on new adventures.

She wants to learn to surf. She has skydived and wants to continue doing it. She has also dived in the ocean and loves it, because she loves the sea and the quiet life. Although going fast with everything is her daily life. Her life’s motto is “Go with the flow.”

 

María Paula Ruiz is a Colombian girl who came to the United States wanting to live a different and unique experience. Being away from home for the first time, she was scared but really excited about this new adventure. Two of her biggest achievements were obtaining her college degree and being a semi-professional roller skater. She’s a dedicated and organized girl how wants to have more independence, self-confidence and to get out of her comfort zone. She lives in Evergreen, Colorado, and she’s taking care of two kids; a 4 month-old baby girl and a 3 year-old boy.

Malwina Piszczan is a 24- year- old Polish girl living in Germany. She has always loved traveling and learning new cultures. Her 16-year younger sister’s birth opened her eyes to a new outlook on life through children’s eyes. By this adventurous and curious way to live, she decided to be an au pair and explore the world. Sarah Peschke is a 22- year-old Bavarian girl born and raised in Munich. She has always loved to work with children and was very interested in medicine. Because of that and her empathetic and polite character, she became a pediatric nurse. On her vacations, Sarah loved to travel with her best friends around Europe. To start a new adventure, she decided to become an au pair in the United States of America. She currently lives with her host family in a small beautiful town in Colorado and enjoys the impressive view of the Rocky Mountains every day.

 

Yuka Hirose is an au pair who has been living in Colorado for 4 years as a returned au pair, with her same host family from her 1st year. She has Bachelor's in Teaching English in University in Japan and also has experience teaching kids English back in Japan. She has been to many states in the United States (23 states) and even overseas!
